As expected, my Senators from Ohio, Mike DeWine and George Voinovich voted today for cloture on the proposed Marriage Protection Amendment to the US Constitution. Cloture means they wanted to end debate on the issue and send it to the Senate for a vote. It is presumed they would have voted in favor of the discrimatory amendment had it been able to come up for a vote.   more »
